Accurate reporting?

I've already been so frustrated with the media and the SEC calling these 2 young men "NFL players", as if they were longtime NFL veterans (I bet those who actually played in the league wouldn't consider them that), but now the focus on CLK's halftime comments, with only PART of the comment being used, is just maddening!
First, Lane considered the comment to be off the record, but also, the quote everyone is pouncing on came after he said "You don't know how hard it was NOT to say..."
In a rare case of Kiffin trying to show restraint, he's getting bashed (especially in the amended lawsuit) for what he considered a PRIVATE COMMENT!
AND IT WAS FUNNY!!!
