The chasm between saying a great expletive offer and being proven you paid a player to sign is facking huge.
What does “proven you paid a player sign” literally mean to you? I am asking you to be specific.
Also, do you honestly believe that offering to pay a player is not an NCAA violation in and of itself?

Keep the Twitter pressure going boys. Our efforts are not in vain.
Yep. It sure helped with Devin White.

Neither you nor I know what if anything else will come of this.
If Wade thinks he is innocent, why not meet with your bosses? The probable storyline is that the LSU administration has a lot more damning info that the public is unaware of. Suspending Wade and sitting Smart are clear indications of this theory. LSU is trying to dampen the NCAA penalties that are coming our way.

And when Wade leaves (because there is no coming back from this)
No, firing Alleva could absolutely be a way back from this.
There has been dissatisfaction with the performances of both Alleva and Alexander on multiple issues, many not connected to athletics. Bureaucrats are usually the problem when systems do not perform satisfactorily. Their jobs are to stay out of the way of those technically responsible for system performance and to communicate well enough to satisfy stakeholders. They have failed in both regards and should be replaced much sooner than later. Legislators and the governor will have no trouble reading the tea leaves and know that it is time for a change.

The shoe companies play a much larger role in all this than we know. For our AD to suspend the coach based on a leaked wiretap devoid of context and the whole story shows a weak individual who lacks the mental fortitude to do the right thing in the face of the outrage of the day. Just like Aleva caved at Duke when those folks needed someone to have their back, Aleva is showing weakness and lack of guts. What a tool. I'm embarrassed for LSU and I graduated from the school.

I watched the postgame interview with Skylar when I got home from the game. They cut a bit out in the link you gave, but I encourage everyone to go find it and watch.
The first thing he said was to credit Wayde Sims and that he’d been with them all season.
He said he’d gone to Wayde’s grave that morning and talked to him. Absolute tear jerker for me.
The fact that Javonte was denied the opportunity to play and participate in a game that was essentially an homage to Sims is tragic. Likewise Coach Wade.
AND to share it with fans.
I’m really angry at whoever is responsible for that decision. There’s no reason at all for not waiting until at least today, if not the end of the SEC tournament.
It’s a callous decision at the very least.
The team deserved far better treatment.

Once again, when dealing with the feds as Wade is if your lawyers say shut the hell up, you SHUT THE HELL UP. Wade talking about this publicly opens up Alleva and King to Federal scrutiny because if there is something they want to keep quiet about that Wade won't leak do you think adding more people into the mix makes the secret safer?
