by now you all have seen sportscenter and you've heard everybody praising alabama and hailing them as next years #1. Just think back to a few years ago when we dominated them every year. What has happened since saban was hired? They have risen, we have fallen. It isn't because of the players or recruiting because that has been fairly close lately. Bama rose so quickly because their players and coaches were more hungry than ours. My advice for the players and coaches is to get that edge back or we'll be sitting here this time next year talking about the same issues as we are now.

Our program and fans have grown fat and happy over the last decade. Bama has seen hard times during those ten years. Of course they are hungrier than we are. It is the nature of the beast. These things go in cycles. Saban will eventually wear down and leave and we will eventually hire a new hotshot who brings the buzz back. It is just how these things work.

They said the same thing about Florida after last year going into this year and Florida got beat in the SEC title game.

The biggest different is Alabama is a well coach and well discipline football team, and LSU is neither.

Thanks to our head coach.

Saban will be looking to move about now. He knows it's harder to repeat than to get to the top.

Look for him to book it in a year or 2. Family never liked living in Bama.

How do you propose that they get that edge back?

Teams tend to mirror their HCs..being the impressionable young men that they are.

Now, examine LSU's and Bama's..there's your answer.

No matter how much to want it to not be true, it still will be.
And it's really pretty easy to compute.
