Maybe I can be some help. I played BB at BRHS for Coach Burge...My Jr. year we finished 2nd in state and won the State Championship my senior year. We had our 50 year reunion for that team in 2004...amazingly all of us were still alive.
Gerald Walter, Attorney in BR gave a presentation in memory of Coach. Mrs. Burge loaned Gerald Coach's scrap book and "The Picture" was in it and was much better than the one here. You may want to call Gerald or Mrs. Burge...Your father would probably know how to reach her.
I won't bore people about Coach Burge but do let me say he was incredible and still enjoys the deepest respect from all of those who played for him.
If you would like to call me I am in Daphne, AL

Thank you very much, I haven't seen that side of the family since my Great Aunt died in 2005. Thank you for making yourself available, I will surely be in contact in the future.

This is an awesome thread and a testament to LSU fans. While the fanbase gets a bad rep for some fans booing, things like this show how awesome our fans truly are.

Makes me proud to be a Tiger!
