The sack stat is great and the thing is it's not just one player that has all of them. The sacks are spread among quite a few players....Aranada doing work to get after the QB in a multitude of ways

Solid post. Those last two are pretty surprising.

The defense has been playing lights out! I wish it culminated into more turnovers. A few turnovers would have really helped against Bama. But I love the energy and intensity the defense has had.

Did OM score and go for 2?

Pretty impressive stat though

Lacouture has had a very impressive season along with Gilmore. Coming back for 1 more season may have gotten Lacouture an NFL contract. Good for him and all of his hard work coming back from injury.

A few turnovers against Alabama would have probably won us the game.

Huge props to Dennis Johnson and Pete Jenkins on the sack production. Johnson has been a pleasant surprise both with coaching abilities and recruiting.

His team-by-team stat comparison and a couple observations Scott made.

quote:

The most glaring statistic of all is the number of points Arkansas has allowed this season. The Hogs have given up more than 38 points in each of their five most recent games, and that includes a narrow-win against Coastal Carolina last week.
quote:

The Hogs are allowing 190.2 rushing yards per game this season, which ranks near the bottom of the Southeastern Conference. Because running the football is LSU’s bread and butter (the Tigers average 209 per contest)

Aranda is going to finish with almost double digit players over Danielle Hunter's money year sack total (Chavis).

Danielle ranked third in the entire NFL in sacks last year
