I'm watching from my living room 100's of miles away, and ESPN's announcers don't seem to be interested in the subject, so I thought I'd ask here and hope for the best.

The offense starts to get bogged down a lot in the 3rd quarter, only to pick back up in the 4th and put the game away. Is O resting/rotating OL starters in the 3rd and putting them back in in the 4th when it's time to put it away? I can't tell from play to play who is in the game on the OL from the broadcast feeds.

Cregg was rotating the Left Tackle and Guard. He paired Traore and Hines, then Magee and Campbell.

It really didn't happen this game. We moved the ball, then turned it over.

It has happened every other game, actually 2nd and 3rd quarters. Defensive lulls too.

Seems improved though

For this game only...

1. We had been playing up tempo/no huddle/ shot gun in the first half. We rolled them.

We came out of the locker in the huddle, burning clock and under the center. No up tempo. No aggression.

If not for some stupid Ole Miss penalties we do nothing on that drive except one play.

2. No energy or urgency by the offense. The team had mentally taken their foot off the pedal.

Of course the crowd checked out also. So the offense wasn’t alone.

And still won, 45-16. According to everybody that knows anything about football. Even when you win, there is something to correct.

Yes there is always something to correct.

Come out flat after halftime

Fumbles

That’s all I got. Anything else?

Yeah, Ole Miss had some atrocious penalties and they're poorly coached. The roughing call kept the drive alive, but we threw on first and third down, so that's not one pass play. That's 2. 2 out of 3. 66.7% pass ratio.

The other penalty was the late hit out of bounds after a 19 yard gain on an end around. This wasn't a penalty that kept the drive alive or anything.

In the third quarter we had a fumble inside the 10 and scored a touchdown. We had a three and out that was started with a holding call on first down.

I'm really not sure what you people are complaining about. If not for 2 red zone fumbles we might have hung 60 on them.

I was pretty clear about it.

We completely changed the tempo.

ETA: I see the mistake I made. I meant one play (end around) and typed one pass.

How do you change the tempo on the first play of the half? And nobody goes up tempo after an incomplete pass or on 3rd and medium. You go tempo when you're moving the ball. If you're not moving the ball it's hard to go tempo.

On our second drive, you really think we're going to go up tempo on 2nd and 24 from our own 6?

The opportunities simply weren't there to play fast on the first set of downs on the first drive and on the second drive.

We’ve had trouble scoring going into and coming out of the half all season.
