I take it you didnt watch many games this year.
The defense was better. Mostly the pass rush was better but that was simply the speed of the new players, not Chavis.
As far as 3rd and Chavis, I saw it several times this year and would get pissed every time a 3rd and long was completed. I have never seen so many 3rd and longs converted as I have witnessed the last two years. This year was a little better but still there due to Chavis playting that weak arse zone on 3rd and long.
