There is no fault here for skip in that decision. It was very reasonable at the time.

In hindsight it looks like a huge mistake. But at the time, Les was doing well and Saban wasn’t Saban yet as we know him now. I don’t think many would have predicted that he would win six titles at Bama. But, yes, I wish that he would have pulled the trigger and done it because LSU would have those trophies in our trophy case instead of Bama.
