Safe space or a place where the lowest common denominator of fan base don’t reside?

I would say this whole place needs a safe space

There was a resturaunt in Ohio that placed on their sign "Geaux Joe Burreaux" I simply stated I would give him back to Ohio St in heart beat for Dwayne Haskins. Idiots on here thought I was stupid. It is easy to see why Haskins won the starting job over Burrow.

Burrow outplayed Haskins all Spring (and the year before until he was injured). Meyer thought he could stall the decision until August. Meyer knew that Haskins AND Martell were likely to leave if Burrow was named as starter. So, Burrow bolted like he said he would when Meyer failed to decide.

Haskins and Burrow are very close in skill sets. Burrow is a better field general, IMO. But, as far as delivering the ball on time and in rhythm, they're close.

I'm also puzzled as to how the hell Burrow is at 47%. He's graded out at around 70% in scrimmages and limited game time in 3 years at OSU throwing against very good D's (the best DBs he faced were 1st round draft picks from OSU that he faced in practice every day). Joe was also over 70% as a Junior and Senior in high school, while getting to the finals of the Ohio state championship game.

There's a reason Mike Weber and Nick Bosa both publicly supported Burrow over Haskins and Barrett.

Burrow is the real deal. Let's see what happens at Auburn.

I have to agree based on what each has done thus far. LSU simply cannot get a QB.

I have no idea what the poster meant but you're kind of right and also wrong. If the receiver has a step on you, you don't look back; but If you are stride for stride you make a play on the ball. This is how interceptions happen..

Like this:

Here's Dawan Landry (LaRon's brother) explaining:

Landry said "defensive backs are always taught to never look back for the ball until they are “in phase” with a receiver – basically running next to him, hip-to-hip. Once in phase with the receiver, the defensive back should “look and lean,” Landry said. "That means simultaneously turning back for the ball while slightly leaning into the receiver’s area".

The above example Mathieu does this perfectly.

Beginning to have doubts about Burrow.

Don't. Many Ohio State fans say he is better than JT Barrett who set OSU and Big 10 records and Dwayne Haskins who has completed 79.2% of his passes for 546 yds, 9 TDs and 1 int.

What many who have talked down our previous QBs like Harris, Jennings, Jefferson, et al fail to acknowledge LSU has a terrible QB culture. The play not to lose mentality that still seems to exist post Miles leads to limiting QB play. At least with Burrow. unlike the others, the QB is not being blamed. Because his numbers at this time are no better than his castigated predecessors.

I think it will be Micheal Divinity, Jacob Phillips and Grant Delpit.

Those are the three that need big games for us to win.

Burrow will throw over 200 because we will be down 2 scores in the 4th after trying to run Les Miles offense for the first 3 quarters.

I know a lot of you folks like to blame Miles for all the bad things that happen to the LSU football program, but he's been gone damn near two full seasons.

This offense is o's offense. This offense is "Slinger's" offense. Miles has absolutely nothing to do with what's going on with the program these days. Be it good or bad. It's not his problem.

Haskins looks great...But..he doesn't have the OL problems Our Tigers have..The fact that a FCS team gave us problems..gives me pause..and concerns me as a fan..to truly judge Burrow..

Excellent chance for LSU to have a major statement game. That's how you establish greatness, do the improbable.

I guess if you call 31 to nothing problems then yes SLU caused LSU problems. This shite is hilarious. This game was never in doubt at any time.

I never said anything like that..you are putting words in my mouth as far as the score/outcome of the game...We can't deny that we hqad breakdowns in protection...Then why did we have to start playing Max protection in this game (utiizing TE's,FB's.RB.s instead of those players being potential targets...they had to be used to shore up protection}..

Three starters out for an offensive line that was going to be average at best at the beginning of the season. One is gone for good. One is coming back for Auburn and the last one should be back the week after that.

Dare moving over to the offense should be huge. My question is why wasn't this move made earlier when Ingram was kicked off the team? Or better yet coming in to fall camp.

I agree with you there..totally!...Dare should have been moved there earlier in camp..This move maybe for the future for Dare..If this had been done earlier..He may very well been ready to at least play as a RT..LT belongs to Saadick Charles...

Go down the list of effective QBs LSU has had in the last 10 years. I'll wait.

you can't simply look at the score - that doesn't always tell the entire picture.
