You think maybe if the QB and the blocking both went right and the RB went left it was the RB who went the wrong way?

It looked like a counter this time, and therefore Mett turned the wrong way. The last time it happened, he turned away from the back and blocking. Maybe it's one on Mett and one on the back, but I'm calling those both QB errors. In any event, kudos to Mett for making a solid play after a miscue (by somebody).

Not only did Ford go the wrong way, he looked like he was waiting to pick up a blitz. And, the coaches benched Ford after that. Mett turned the right way, and then made a play with his feet to get the first down.

It would be interesting to see how many pass plays were on first down?
Also, anyone who actually attended the game, it would be interesting to hear how ofter Auburn sold out on the run. If we can not backoff the safteties, we are going to be in trouble.

We ran plenty of pass plays. And plenty on first down. Our OL blocking was garbage. And when we did block well, we either had a penalty or dropped pass that screwed it up.

For once, it wasn't the playcalling.
