It's the backup center. He does need some work. But the starting crew looked fine

Somebody needs to get to work on Burrows. He did not look great out there.

Plenty of time until kickoff, though.

They've run several RPOs today where Burrow either gives to the back or pulls it for a pass to a WR. He just doesn't have the QB run option in there today.

I just always considered the QB keeping the ball to be part of the RPO. I mean otherwise..you either have a run..or a play action pass. That’s basically what they’re doing. I may be wrong..I’m not all that smart really.

Is Monroe hurt? He’s dressed out on the sideline all by himself

ETA: nvm he has a noticeable limp

That last sack whistle was too early. Brennon stepped up and divinity didn’t touch him

Brennan looks really good.

Yep. I feel a bit better about him if he's needed.

Was never a fan of the longer shoulder stripes hope we're not going back to those. Anybody know if we are?

huh?

This is a scrimmage. The whole point is to critique the players.

I like Joe, he's our starter. Drops aside, he didn't look great out there. Overthrow, underthrow. . .You can hate that it's a fact, but it is still a fact.

I am not dissing him, just being critical of what I see.

You think Joe looked good out there? Really?

You don't think it is fair to say he needs some work in the offseason?

shite guys. . .I mean. . .

End the game. I’ve seen enough and we know what we need to work on.

A play action is designed from the start to be a pass no matter what, so the OL protects accordingly. The RPO is designed to be a run, with a run blocking scheme, but if the read man on the defense drops down to defend the run they can pass it.

hopefully not. Our practice and spring jerseys used to be our pre-2013 jerseys. Hopefully the long stripes are our practice jerseys now.
