How do you explain that to Anderson, Sullivan, Giles, Chase, Marshall and you’re 2019 WR recruits???

preferable if Tyrion Davis Redshirted with all that talent. We don't need four freshman playing

Tyrion is the most plug and play RB we've recruited in 4yrs. May start day 1 as the biggest and strongest RB on the roster, heard a couple 247 guys say this on the radio, Emery has the long term upside tho

You realize that if I changed it to seniority-first on the depth chart that there would be just as many rangers howling that emery, Stingley be #1 right?

It doesn’t matter. But that spawns an idea. Maybe I will do just that.

Also, after signing day I will post the 2020 projected depth chart for further melts.

I'm assuming Davis and Emery can catch the ball. They will be very effective on swing, flare, delayed release, safety valve and screen passes. All of our RBs should be giving defenses fits if we could just throw them the ball in the open field. Throw the ball to them 5 yards down the field and let them run for 25 yards. It happens every Saturday afternoon all over the country.

Might as well put Stingley at the top of the depth chart.

I agree with the post & the depth chart, my point was simply that the comment about Davis redshirting might not happen cause he's the big back we've traditionally had that we haven't had in a while since Williams & Fournette left. His ability to pound on the DL will help early next year vs non -conf opponents.

Also, look for CEH to be used to catch a ton of passes next year. He's your dump-off / screen guy. Our OL can struggle all they want, but it doesn't always have to hurt us...screens and dump-offs can stifle blitzing capabilities, and CEH is perfect for that.

Jacori Savage still on roster today

Eta. Also not sure when that depth chart was updated because b Fehoko is not even on it.

I think Kelvin Joseph may be starting next season @ cornerback.

Could be. But we only have 4 safeties.

Plus IF Devonte Lee signs, he’s not a sure bet to play S either.

A couple injuries or suspensions ( see fiesta) and we are down to 3, even two safeties for a whole game.

I think Fulton, Vincent, and Stingley would do well enough.

I hope they move him back to safety. Either way, time to pick a position and become the best you can at playing it. If that's corner, fine, but the kid is very talented, and I hope we don't waste that trying to make him into something that he's not best at.

Stevens should've been starting at his current safety spot all year...he got here 2 years ago. Our staff should've recognized his safety potential, which is substantial, instead of trying him at WR and RB first.

Easy to say that now, sometimes it takes longer for things to click with kids, and sometimes needs dictate where a kid has to play.

It worked out fine

I thought he was OLB.

Should I change him to S?

Lee? I think he's an OLB...they may try him at WR first, though.

Yeah, I agree...especially with the needs part.

You rather see him at CB or S?

From what the kids tell me, he wants to play S or Wr. Doesn’t want to play OLB.

Thanks.

What about Jacoby Stevens. Thought he already made the love to field or bench Lb.

I just want him blitzing...he looks good at safety now but, if we think we can get him closer to the play more often at OLB, I'm all for it. He's a weapon, for sure.

Imagine another 10lbs of muscle on this guy and him consistently coming off the edge.
