With all the negative posts (e.g., recruits we are missing out on, players declaring early, the sky is falling, etc.) I'd like to ask what people are most excited about next season?

I am most looking forward to what Cam can do with an experienced offensive line and a load of young talent (Quinn, Washington, LF, and possibly Dupre)

What say you?

Edit: Subject change to "2014 Team Outlook"

If some guys on the interior of the DL step up, I think our defense will be really good. I think Hunter is going to be up there in the SEC in terms of sacks.

With the offense I'm concerned about QB, but I think AJ will surprise some people.

I also think people are greatly underestimating the WRs we have on the roster currently. Dural, Diarse, Peterson, and Spears will surprise people.

Our success next year will depend totally on how much the defense improves. They will have to do a better job of keeping the score lower next year because I don't think we will win many shoot outs.

I think our running game will be fine. Our offensive line will be fine. The WRs will be inexperienced, but talented. The QB play will be a big key on how many points we can put up.

A solid defense and a QB, who gets used correctly and steps up, could end in a good season. Probably another year with a shot of nice bowl. Not expecting a NC. In 2015 though it should be playoff time

I'm looking forward to:

- the 2013 DL recruits getting more time

- Kwon's continued development, and Debo starting at Will

- the Moffitizing of Q Leslie, RR, and really damn near the whole 2013 class

- Jennings' progress (I assume he'll win the job)

- what should be a nasty, nasty group of DBs. not even counting the new recruits, these dudes are gonna make it hard to pass on us IMO. and they can play run D. I hope Mills sticks at safety.

He seems to me like a guy who showed up when he was on the field. Should we have seen more of him this past year?

I'm looking forward to:
- Opener vs. Wisky
- RR and White locking down WRs
- Fournette rushing for 1,100-plus yards
- Overall improvement from our defense
- A tight SEC West race that we'll be in the middle of

I thought so, too. He has the explosiveness largely missing in the front 7 in 2013. Can't wait to see the improved LB corps and especially CB play next year.

I'm thinking vintage shutdown defense in 2014 and a lot of ?s on offense. Could be a very efficient group that wins games. I could see a 10-2 regular season.

Not looking to bash Welter, because I do believe that he improved as the yr went on. but having seen his 'growing pains' and believing that this D needed to capitalize on making plays with its speed, I'm still surprised Barrow wasn't bumped over to Mike with Debo taking over at Will.

But it is what it is, let's hope the LB unit becomes the strength we thought it would this yr

We will be disappointed due to a "young" team but we've been young for what will be 3 years...
