OP -- Please add that you can also use the ESPN App on the Xbox 360 if your cable/internet provider supports ESPN3

Yes it does. Quite a few of them. HBOGo, Netflix, Hulu, Amazon, and plenty more.
It's just called the ESPN App

I guess im an idiot, but what does "GAME" mean? Am I to assume these places will televise the game via appletv or other means?

Yes, those places will be broadcasting the game on the TVs throughout their establishments. NO GAME means they will not have the game on any of their TVs because they do not have the ability to stream from ESPN3 onto their TVs.
