Uhhhhh, we were #1 before the Bama game.
We were top 5 preseason, and yeah everyone thought the schedule was brutal, but after we beat Oregon everyone knew we were really good. After we beat WVU in Morgantown, pretty much everyone knew the winner of the Bama LSU game was going to the ship. Hell, people were already talking about the loser still getting in even before the game.
Hell that game was built up like the Super Bowl for two weeks and was called The Game of the Century.

The Oregon win was huge and put everyone on notice. We haven't had that yet, and of course there's the Bama factor which is 50/50 at best.
I like this team a great deal though.
