I wonder who has the longest streak and who is #2. I would think Oklahoma would be one, they are always ranked and rarely lose more than a handful. Is the other Virginia Tech?

That's the first thing I thought of. I searched for it for a couple minutes but didn't find anything. It would be awesome if somebody could find that out. I would love to know how far we've got to go to get lead the country in consecutive weeks ranked.

I know Bama is one of the teams with longer stretch. They have been ranked since pre season poll before 2008 season. At 15 polls a season that would put them at 50 or 51 in a row.. seeing last year was tides worst record in that stretch at 10-3 it makes sense they would not drop out. OKL dropped out year Bradford got hurt..and VT after that JMU loss last year.. not sure if tide is 1 or 2 on the list though.. boise may be other team
