If you're just talking receivers, Michael Clayton had a nice freshman year.

What an interesting, unique, out-of-the-box perspective on LSU's receiver situation in 2009. >_>

1. Lafell
2. Toliver
3. C. Mitchell/Richard Murphy (I wouldn't be surprised to see him in the slot catching a few passes next year [Josh Reed??? crossing fingers now])
4. J. Mitchell (If he is still in school)
4. Trindon Holliday (never really know how to count him into all of this, wish we would use him more regularly just in the backfield, behind a lead blocker perhaps)
5. RR/Deangelo Benton/Tim Molton
With people somehow drooling over TM, which I haven't seen any proof in any of the little film provided, he should be stepping up. If I remember the quote correctly, "the best WR at LSU in a while" he should be stepping up this year. I actually think that if Benton is here, and can understand the concept Crowton is trying to teach him, then he will be a better WR than RR. Don't get me wrong, I think RR will be awesome, just not after a year of playing a different position.

That's what I was thinking. This kid might own some serious face here, too.
