I don't think anything is 'set in stone', but I'll bet money that you will see RS line up at quarterback sometime in the 2009 season.

I wish RS would want to become a "Percy Harvin type" player. He could get 200 yards a game with his running abilities and yards after catch.

I think RS and Garrett will both be QBs, but it remains to be seen if either or both redshirt. I expect Garrett to redshirt, not sure about Shep. I think Shep came to LSU to be a Pat White and not a Percy Harvin, but who knows.

RS said himself one of the main reasons he chose LSU is because Les said he would be a QB, whereas USC was recruiting him as a receiver, Mack Brown and Urban Meyer as an ATH, etc. Maybe his freshman year he'd be used in another position just to utilize his abilities, but at the end of the day he came here to be a QB and that's what he'll be used as

RS will be used where he can most benefit the team. Not the first one posting here knows where that will be, I have faith in LM and GC.
IMO there is no depth chart now, LM has already said qb started will be decided this offseason...whoever wins the job. Root for who you want, but dont be a douchebag and cut down one the players ause you dont like him.

Give it up, JL is done at QB, he will not seee the playing field...book it. It will be JJ and RS, hatch as backup and garrett redshirt. JL might be put behind hatch incase it ever got to that point but don't count on it.
They are changing the offense to be able to use 2 athletic and mobile QBs and JL does not fit into that scheme anywhere.
