You have a great way of inferring things that aren't there.

And you post makes no sense with the quote you made it with.

Just saying glad we settled that JL was the greatest high school QB that Miles recruited.

I would just like ....for once....to see Miles recruit a top-notch QB....develop him....and actually let the MOFO play some....that I would love to see.

I'm still failing to see where anyone said that. What is this, at least the fourth post of yours I've had to make that reply to.

The video was shown to illustrate how much of a dumb arse Les Miles is. Did you watch it?

This is my biggest issue. Well, that and the fact that he can only make one read apparently. This offense is just so vanilla. It can work if the O line is dominant, but when they have an off game, we now see what happens.

Glad we could bridge the gap

Miles biggest issue is his faith in QB's. He trusted Mett last year and let him operate in a complete offense. I don't think he sees that opening things up a bit might benefit Jennings and not allow the opposing D to tee off. Honestly his stubborness is why I want to see Harris so badly. If he is going to put the QB in a near impossible position to succeed, give me the guy with the rocket for an arm and better ability to run the ball. It's why I wanted JJ against Bama. I knew the playcalling would limit Lee's strengths to the point of rendering him useless.

After reading most of these post - I am agreeing more with the We have a Problem bunch than the its going to be OK bunch !

We have a great program that is being held back to a degree by its head Coach. But that head coach has a hell of a winning % ! Some of the things we hate about Miles is causing some of the winning % - has to !

Might be waiting a while.

I still think it comes down to recruiting for your system instead of just highest rated. We seem to go for highest talent regardless of how we intend to use them. That's my biggest concern with how Miles handles these things.

you are the one that named JL as an example of a qB from high school Miles recruited and developed along with RP who got kicked off the team.

Did I say he was the best? No.

I'm not going down this road with you again. You make arguments out of nowhere.

Who was the best Qb from high school that miles developed? I have been asking this question for the last hour and nobody can reply. You pumpers in your typical highland and lee world fashion just dance around it.

All I have done was say miles hasn't developed a QB he recruited out of high school ever.

Are you asking who has been most successful on the field, or who was the best potential out of high school?

Any idiot can answer these questions themselves btw.

Or being able to tweak your system to fit these highly touted players. QB's don't just develop because they practice hard or spend all their time watching film. They develop by being given trust and making plays on the field. Confidence is one of the most important attributes for a QB. Lack of has ruined many promising young QB's careers. Find the things that they do best, know your opponents weaknesses, and come up with a gameplan that gives them the best chance to make plays and win. Instead, we play "our" style of football regardless of the situation. It is not ineffective enough to lose most of the games we play, but it's not going to help our D out any. Win on both sides of the ball, not win on D while not losing playing O.

I wanted to edit in the part of your post about trusting the QB, but didn't want to steal your thunder.

Jefferson. Lee. Perrilloux learned enough to come in and win us an SEC championship.

Insert your various reason why none of those are good enough.
