2008 FOOTBALL SEASON TICKET WAITING LIST

Does anyone know when they are gonna start notifying people if they have received season tickets? How can you tell what number you are on the waiting list?

They started last week. They're around 900 in priority ranking right now.

Call the ticket office and give them your taf account number. If you don't have a taf account number, don't even bother.

what is the purpose of the waiting list if you must have a TAF number first? How do you get a TAF number first? So everyone who is on the waiting list is S**T OUT OF LUCK?

If you don't have a TAF account number..you are on no list..there is no actual waiting list..it's just a front.

No just the people on the waiting list that aren't in TAF, and most of the people that are in TAF are shite out of luck. Don't feel bad its a widespread feeling :)

LSU goes by priority point ranking for assigning all tickets now. This includes the football waiting list.
The tradition fund portion of season tickets is the only part that counts towards your priority point ranking.
Go to TAF's website & see how many points you can get for donations to each of their programs.

Don't bother with TAF. Go to StubHub or something, pay a premium, and be certain you will get tickets this year.

Anyone have any input on my chances to get upgraded to a pair of side by side tix anywhere in the stadium? I'm ranked around 6200 and currently have two singles in the South End Zone just a couple rows apart and about 20 seats away.

Once you join taf, every point you accumulate while donating count and add up. The reason that you are SOL is because even people with 1 taf point are ahead of you on the list since you technically have zero. I have 6 points or something and I'm around 6100 and have no shot.

I have 6.3 points and a ranking of 6,991. When I made my donation this year I didn't have any hopes of getting tickets. Maybe next year I'll have a glimmer of hope with over 9 points but even then it's still a long shot. If you want tickets you'll have to donate for a few years. Sitting on the waiting list with 0 priority points doesn't do anything.
