I hear you. I’m not saying they’re going to do it.

I’m saying they have to do it if they are to win. That’s how much the odds are against us.

I see your point, but I've gotta say this. If Ensminger and O can't get this offense to score into the 20's, there will be a whole lot of irate LSU Fans and rightfully so.

Ensminger and Sullivan (and O) must see to it that this LSU Offense gets the job done. 13-17 is not going to cut it. If that is what we are going to get, this will be a big L, and then another big L will happen at Texas Agricultural & Mechanical, and then everybody is infuriated all over again, calling for heads.

I wouldn’t be so quick to undervalue our defense at home in an electric atmosphere. They’re certainly capable of limiting these guys.

Well, it's blind faith right now.

We haven't been that lights out vs lesser teams.

Tech scored 21
OM score 16
UGA scored 16.

Bama's way better than any of those teams. They're #1 in total offense. and you think we have a shot to hold them under 20?

Yep, to stay on the field with this year's Sabama club, you've got to attack on offense, as aggressive as is possible and play hurry-up offense all night long.

We have to score 30+ to win IMO.

This is the best offense I've seen, maybe ever.

The offensive line is littered with All-Americans. They have the most accurate QB in the country, who happens to be a stellar athlete as well. They have 4-5 wide receivers that are BURNERS and will all play on Sundays. Oh and they have 3 stud RBs. They have absolutely no holes.

And they are aggressive.

I agree on the uptempo. LSU will be able to score against bama. I like LSU'S secondary. LSU'S coaching staff has put the defense in a position to be successful. I believe bama is going to get frustrated early.

Well, LSU has been able to score vs other teams but they've played it safe in many spots, dialing down the aggression once we get into the redzone.

That isn't going to cut it vs Alabama.

Eh, I just can't see it. I've also got more confidence in our offense than that.

LSU should be able to score more than 20 against Bama at home.

Yup

LSU has averaged 24 points the past 3 games against 3 of the best defenses in the SEC..

19 is really the average, because they scored it in 2 games of the three.. but we should definitely get around 20 with the bye and being at home and playing Alabama. I'm really thinking 28ish. 30's would be awesome and hopefully we get the win.

LSU will have to be as aggressive on offense as bama is! LSU cant take the approach to grind it out like years past! They will need to score in 30s and limit big plays by bama.

I agree. LSU has faced better defenses already and bama hasn't faced a defense as good as LSU.

Yes, bstew, this will get into upper 20s to 30s much like the national title game last season (between georgia and sabama). If LSU is unable to go toe to toe, it will be 100% on the coaches. We have the talent on offense.

If we hold them to nothing but field goal attempts we will win 24-0!!!
