11-1 LSU with a Bama loss would be like 11-1 Ohio State with a Michigan loss

It still would be Mich Wash TX and either Bama or GA SEC Champ Game winner. My point is we could have beat FSU and Ole Miss and still be out the Top 4. This is my main reason why I am for the expanded Playoff.

As it should be.

With the way this year played out, yeah that's absolutely the case. We have never seen 5 conf champions all have a legit case to make the playoffs before. This year it was 100% required you win your conference, and even that wasn't enough for one of them.

It will be great.

HaHaHa!

A month ago we were dreaming of the possibly a 2 loss LSU team making it into the CF playoff before the Bama game…assuming we could run the table.

Yeah, it's gonna be awesome watching Tier 1 programs like Bama, Mich, ND, with three losses or more getting in over Tier 2/3 programs that win conference titles or just have 1 or 2 losses to highly ranked teams.

This isn't going to go like many think it will.

That was on the back of Texas dropping another game (they almost did to K state), and Alabama not winning the SEC. Also, Washington would’ve probably needed to drop a game as well in order for that to be a possibility. It was wishful thinking.

Huh? Are you suggesting a 1-2 loss ACC champ will get left out the playoffs? If so, I think you need to read how the 12 team playoff will work. If you are suggesting the likes of a 1-2 loss Tulane conference champ getting left out over a 3 loss SEC or Big 10, then absolutely that should be the case.

Liberty would be in the 12 team playoff.

Bama, Oregon, Florida State and Ohio State got in. Ohio State was #6 and leapfrogged 11-1 TCU and Baylor (co-Big 12 champs) in the rankings after the conference title games

Sad part of this is who Michigan beat that is ranked.
Michigan ranked wins:

Osu 3 ranked wins
Penn st 1 ranked win (Iowa)
Iowa zero ranked wins

Osu: Ranked wins

Notre dame: zero ranked wins
Iowa: zero ranked wins
Penn st: 1 ranked win (Iowa)

Big 10 is garbage. A 12 team playoff will expose all these bs teams

I disagree if LSU had Alabama‘s record, and had also beat Georgia in the SEC championship game we would also be in the playoffs. LSU almost always provides entertaining football.
