When will it be? Before or after first game of Ole Miss series?

Some LSU teams have gotten hot and went on some streaks before.

Edit. Just something to look back at. Maybe tomorrow

Does this team have the bullpen and consistent hitting like the other teams that made runs?

Personally, I don’t think so. But the best team doesn’t always win. We are young. Go out there and be relentless and say who gives a frick. Same moxie our basketball team had

So you think LSU will get hot and go on a winning streak?

Hahaha no. But you never know. Did we see a 23 game winning streak coming in 2008? Not being a hype builder here but just how crazy sports can be.

Game 3 is going to be a challenge for this team every single weekend regardless of opponent. Stringing 3 wins together on back to back weekends would be an impossible thing to predict.

I agree but there is always two sides of a coin. Was it “impossible” to predict LSU to lose 29-0 on their home field to Bama in 2018 to then have the greatest season in CFB history the following year? Again, I’m not saying I am predicting it but who knows!

Apples to oranges. I am not saying LSU can't sweep 2 weekends in a row. Simply that it would be impossible to predict until you know what happens in game 1 and 2. They need to throw the best pitcher available in Game 1 and 2 to try support the starters. Until someone emerges as a game 3 starter this team will potentially have struggles in the third game.

Game 3 will always be the riskier game for us the rest of the year. This post wasn’t to say I think we go on a streak. We are not built for that. But take it 1 game at a time and who knows. Maybe we convert some pitchers to hitters like Todd Peterson and Austin Bain haha!

I agree. I like seeing pitchers hit nukes. I think we have a chance at a good Game 3 starter between Hellmers, Edwards, and Money.

First 2 are the better options but it depends how long Labas goes and who is needed to win game 2. Surprised Hilliard has had the career he’s had with us. Especially this year. Expected better.

Those two walk off losses to Tennessee really blow.
