I would like 1 more football call to be honest. But yea what a terrible way for him to go out. I feel so bad for him. I would punch Jones in the face if I was him

In my mind, I'm already there.

I agree. Jim deserves a farewell broadcast. I rather it be Football though.

He's already had a "farewell" broadcast for football and baseball, I think he's good.

If he didn't hate baseball he would call this entire season.

This is absolutely disgraceful, for a legend in your sports broadcasting to go out like this. Refuse to participate? Unbelievable. How in the frick is Alleva or Jones still allowed in the AD building?

Yes. I'm mad.

They should do a farewell show, have current and former caches come on, share memories, replay some of his most famous calls, then let him have a final sign off

That would cool or let him open the broadcast in Lambeau and pass the torch

I feel like he's already had like 25 farewell send offs. Can we just let the man go already?

It's a fine sentiment, but as been said, it's time to let go. His career was always going to end on an LSU loss no matter which way you slice it, and people would clamor for "one last call" to make up for it. Was it an atrocious way to end it? Absolutely. But those are the breaks.
