in the open field Durham is fine and yes, he can do that... Durham's problem is in letting the play develop and his ball carrier vision

my comment is more on his ability, not his production... and no, no assumption.. he's made quite nice cuts in the open field throughout his career so far...

his problems come between the tackles.. his vision to see the hole opening up, if and when they do, and his penchant for giving up on the design of the play before allowing the hole to open up is what holds him back... he's too impatient, and granted with this OL, who wouldn't be, and that's what hinders him b/c when he tries to find another lane it's usually right into the teeth of the defense that's not being blocked b/c the play doesn't call for that particular man to be blocked

it's adequate.. i wouldn't say it's elite, but it's adequate...

and that's why i say it's not elite... he's good enough to get away from DL and LBs, but he'll get rundown by DBs, even from way across the field
