Moscona had the Whit & West Weeks on the radio this afternoon and West confirmed that the plan is to sit out the OU game to preserve his redshirt. He will be able to play in the bowl game though.

If they are aligned, which I suspect they will be, they redshirt Yr1 and get in the weight room, film room, and class room. As redshirt freshman, they will be better prepared and start to get some PT. As the depth continues to improve for the roster, no need to rush to get them on the field out of necessity but as a development process. I think Kelly would like to see the starters as 20 -21 year old RS Jr and Sr and this doesn’t hurt that.
