SIX more than any other school, including Bama and OSU.... I can't figure out why recruits aren't flocking to LSU. The facilities are great. Stadium atmosphere is great. Weather is great. They can start as true frosh instead of riding the bench at other schools.
What's going on? Why is this the slowest year in recruiting. Why all the 3 stars? Is it because of our HC? If so, why do all our players absolutely love playing for him? Every player loved miles, but when he left the players were even more excited about O. Yeah, our fans don't care for O, but our fans aren't ever happy. If O doesn't work out in the long run, our next hire will be better.
If I was a recruit, I would want the playing time, experience, and the millions that are guaranteed to follow afterwards. We are a QB away from going big, again. Don't be a Tony Brown and blow your future

It’s not the slowest year and we aren’t finishing with all class full of 3 stars. We currently have 10 4 stars and we will add a 5 star receiver, a 5 star corner, a 4 star running back, a 4 star QB, and the best offensive tackle LSU has had in a long time.

This 3 star shite is so overrated. We usually have 8 to 10 every year. Most teams do. Georgia is #5 and they have 8. Some years are less, some are more. It depends on instate talent. Thus year is a little down, next year is way up. The amount of 3 stars will show it to be true

It really inst the stars, just think of all the 5 stars across the country who dont make the NFL.

LSU has the best track record in the country of putting players in the NFL. LSU develops talent.

You're really missing the big picture. We probably get Surtain among other big names and that's going to change everything you perceive about this class. O is going to bring in just as good of recruiting classes as Les did and that talent alone will keep him around for several years, for better or worse.

Kids are flocking to LAU. WTF is wrong with you. Last year's class was terrific, and we will finish with a tip 5 recruiting class this year. You have to get your head out of your arse and realize that we getting great players.

Sorry, not seeing it. It used to booms every year thru out the year, including all American games. Now we get pops once in awhile. This class won't be top 5.

What if they end up like Tyronn Johnson or Derrick Dillion and being buried on a depth chart?

I'm fine with the class we have now and the class we will finish with but we won't be close to a top 5 class man. Next year we will probably have a top 5 class though.

Hey man, who’s to say that these 3 stars don’t make it to the NFL. Check this out, who got big Marvin and Cam along with 2 more 5 stars, #6 rank 8 top 100 players the last 2 years. #3 rank in 15&16. Where are they at now my friend. Let it play out.

Apparently the recruits do come. It's just that the previous coach was scared to lose, so he played it safe. Last time I checked, he still isn't coaching.
The amount of talent that LSU has put in the NFL is unreal. The coaches got them ready to play on Sundays, I kept waiting to see it relate on Saturdays, but it never really came.
Now, we got talent and a new coach. Let's see what happens going forward.

Reaching the NFL is basically an individual achievement. Performance and potential to play against other pro players.

Team achievements are affected by numerous factors, such as coaching, schedule, injuries, depth, schemes, turnovers, team chemistry, luck, officiating, weather, Qb, balance of squad, linemen, etc.

A team can have several of the top players and not win championships.
