If Jayden Daniel’s doesn’t improve on his release time, his timing with his WRs coming out of their routes, how to throw these talented WRs open and how to hit these WRs in stride on those go routes then he may not be the starter for very long. I think Daniel’s will be on a much shorter leash this year after what I saw from Nuss there is no reason at all to keep him off the field if Daniel’s doesn’t progress in these areas.

All Nuss really needs to do is learn how to protect the ball and learn when to use his check downs and intermediate throws. If Nuss learns how to get the ball out faster, learns to protect the ball, and learns that checking down often produces big plays then he’s going to pass JD right up. Nuss instincts are just better and his upside to this point is much higher. Now JD can change that narrative but he had a chance to do that all year and didn’t, which scares me. Because if he plays the same way he did this season, LSU will never win a championship like that.

Even if our running game improves, which I think it will improve significantly. All these guys will be in year two of this offense and the OC will be able to add some wrinkles to what he’s already implemented.
