How upset would you be if we get most of the recruits we want, and fill all the needs in the depth chart? If we don't get #1, I would think these recruits would feel a little pissed off, and play with more fire to prove these analyst wrong. Either way, I'm pumped about this class. Geaux Tigers!

Not upset. Everyone knows it's a hell of class and these toolbag analysts play favorites with the rankings.

Don't get me wrong, the #1 class would be great, but I will take #1 at the end of next season instead.

It's hard to look at this class and be upset with it, regardless of how the final rankings end up.

The staff is assembling a well-rounded class, and filling positions of need for quality depth going forward.

These recruits are coming to be coached by some of the best in CFB. Orgeron, Raymond, and now Aranda along with the rest of our staff will continue to bring in top-flight recruits to play at LSU. These coaches are getting the high-caliber players they know will succeed in our program, and more importantly, who want to be Tigers.

We'll be fine.

Good time to be a Tiger IMO. Getting really optimistic about the future in Baton Rouge.

Don't care one bit. there is so minor a difference between any of the top 100 or so players that it's completely marginal and to be honest, the number one defensive tackle in the country may not be as good of a fit for the team as say the number 10 guy might be. Look at it this way. Would you rather have the number 1 recruit if taking him means he might cause some inner turmoil with several other team members or would you rather have the number 12 guy that everyone on the team loves and he works harder for the team because of it.

I think we'll all be anticipating with eager eyes how Aranda uses his new shiny (and faster) toys here. It's hard not to get excited about this guy, though.

Team chemistry is important no doubt.

I don't care if we get the rest of the talent were are in a strong position for. I.E Mullen, Fulton, and Lawrence. That would be a sick class. Maybe add Scott for depth at qb. Who knows but if that played out I'd be stoked. As well as maybe a surprise steal at LB.

Who cares about their rating. Ratings don't matter as soon as these guys don a college jersey.
It's all in and these ratings will have been forgotten unless they win a natty 3-4 years from now.

Having the number one class is just filler and a dog and pony show to bring these sites traffic and for ESPN to run down our throats until August. You think you can go into a recruits home for the 2017 recruit next year and talk about the great class you had last year? Nope because they are worried about 2017 class not last year.
Does it feel nice to say our team has the number one class but it's a feeling that fades very quickly and ultimately is just a number.

I don't know for sure, but I have always believed this was the reason we passed on Swag Kelly. I really don't think he would have fit in with the guys we have on the team now.

Won't occupy more than 10 or 15 seconds of my thought, and I don't even know how much recruits follow this stuff.

If we get everyone we want and somehow don't get the #1 class, then whatever. I'll probably dwell on it for about 2 seconds
