Can't say I've been impressed with Bishops game. He can shoot lights out, but his athleticism isn't the level I'd expect from a Will Wade recruit. I thought there were some better guards than Bishop interested in LSU. Not sure if things changed with them or Wade sees something in Bishop he doesn't in the others.

They think he’s an elite scorer. His kinda small and not a great athlete so if he’s not scoring he won’t be very useful, but I think they are confident he will put up some big numbers. The only problem with getting him is LJ Cryer has a similar game next year and I think he’s a guy who should be a priority.

I understand, but I see Bishop as more of a shooting guard than a point and at 6 2 is a little short for shooting guard. That being said, in Wades system, he will have opportunity to shoot so I can see the advantage. But, I'm just not sure if he will be a good defender against quicker guards.

I really thought Avery Anderson was going to commit, he was high on LSU at least from one recruiting service and he is a ball handler who can score like CJ could. But, Wade may like Bishop more.
