I think next year it's going to see if we stick w the same offense w Brady leaving, if we have another stellar year I think they will start heading this way we have everything you would want for a qb to be successful

Simply put: because the name everyone was talking about all season for the success of our quarterback and receivers has left for the Carolina Panthers.

I don’t necessarily agree with that, but I believe it is the answer to your question (from a recruit’s POV).

We just signed 2 QBs in the top 15 this year . What else do we want ? Now we have to develop them!

Give Brennan a chance. He was a great highschool Quarterback. I saw him play in Mississippi. Not many people know he has the 5th most career HS passing yards in the country...not state! He is #1 in Mississippi. Look it up!

1 16,775 Jake Browning CA 12-14
2 16,566 Alex Huston MO 15-17
3 16,108 Grant Gunnell TX 15-18
4 15,483 Layne Hatcher AR 14-17
5 15,138 Myles Brennan MS 13-16

His career Highschool Stats

Passing Yards 15,138
Passing TD 165 Int 25
Rushing Yards 1,141
Rushing TD 23
Average Passing YPG 357
Average YPC 15.2
Average Rushing YPG 25
Average YPR 6.1
Passing Attempts 1467
Completions 987
Completion Rate 67%

Looks good to me...give him a chance to practice with the #1's during spring ball then decide if he has what it takes.

Jake Browning was decent at Washington but nothing special.

I like Brennan and think he will be alright if he has pocket awareness but people that point to high school, seem to be reaching

I wish people would give him a chance. Obviously he had what it took in a HS spread offense. He was throwing mostly to a 3 and 4 wide set.
He never had much time with our starters...once he is given substantial time with them he will Excel.

Nussmier is not even top ten rated. Of course Burrow was not either. Brennan might have been
