Well I think you answered why a recruit would go to Oregon. I would assume it's something similar for USC recruits.

Awesome school, hot biatches, great program, Huge publicity and media coverage, hot biatches, gettin' paid, gettin' laid, to get away from the south

Those guys have the opportunity to be "stars" in cali. Just look at he coverage Bush and Leinart got out there.

No disrespect sir but, Are you out of your mind? It's 63 out here right now and I'm outside in flip flops eating corn on the cob while I type this. Why would a recruit want to go to a school in a city with beaches, exotic women, and 20 million people all in a 2 hour radius?

I'm glad you included the fact that you're eating corn on the cob.

Sure there are. If you're a small town guy, or want to stay close to home, the SEC schools are great for you.

But if you want some glitz, the limelight, the hottest chicks in the country (they all move there, not always from there), some of the best beaches in the world....you go to USC. I've only been to So Cal a couple times, and I totally get why people fall in love with it out there.

Great beaches, great girls, movie stars, great weather & a great private university. I don't know, they must be stupid or something.

The only downside to USC is that it's smack in the hood. Besides that there is every reason in the world to go there.

Yeah, no one ever mentions that USC is in Compton when talking about how "it recruits itself".

Pepperdine recruits itself, Compton does not.

That is pretty funny and true. You know people mean that California is loaded and within a 100 mile radius there are blue chips everywhere if you can get players to stay in the CPT.

The actual city of Compton is not somewhere I would want to live, but everything else you said was true about USC.

Personally, I might consider going there if Ole' Spurrier could get me a free pass to the Augusta National. Hell, that's the only reason he is there.
