A bit of both. I read NFL.com a good bit and they are just one of the sites that have tier systems for the OL. Some other sites are better, but at least with them you can quickly see where the OL guys went to college. Funny you mention Colorado St, I believe they have one on the list. LSU has 1, Whitworth(our other guys have retired). Wisconsin/Michigan/USC and Ohio St are well represented, but it appears the WAC and Mountain West guys do a better job than anyone

I'd bet a lot of those non-BCS guys were OT in college that slid down inside in the NFL. Just like a lot of high schools put their best guy at OT even though he will play OG in college.

The reports out of 7on7s and camps is Robinson is very good. We've been interested for quite some time, from Cooper to now. I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that the majority of the posters on here will agree:
Coaches opinions are what count

Can someone tell me why we are so high on robinson? Besides the fact that he is high on LSU bc PP went to the same school

He's ok..nothing great IMO
Tall and lean, long arms, great hips, plenty fast enough...

I think that's also a product of the players out west, big corn feed boys make for good lineman.

Maybe i just haven't seen enough of him but the only highlight video i saw, he didn't look like anything special

I'll keep checking his vids through yahoo!, 247, etc.

Seems like he has a high ceiling of potential though

You just answered your own question. That potential is why we're so high on him. He's basically the protoype CB in a physical respect. 6'1 or 6'2 with length, athleticism and speed. He's a more hyped version of what Jalen Collins was as a prospect. (which I think has more to do with where he's from than the talent level; both are tremendous talents)

He moves in all directions so effortlessly. He just glides around, and he is a legit 6'2 maybe 6'2.5. He has alot of competitive fire in him too so as he gains weight he will get more physical. IMO he has the potential to be a slightly more natural corner version of Simon

Florida State's Jimbo Fisher Camp

On a day in which many of the state's elite recruits had not yet arrived for Florida State's Jimbo Fisher Camp, Rashard Robinson was impossible to miss. Wearing an orange helmet and Seminole-branded socks (see image below), the 6'1, 168-pound Robinson was impossible to miss. Florida State's coaches definitely didn't, as defensive coordinator Mark Stoops and head coach Jimbo Fisher watched the Pompano Beach (Fla.) Ely cornerback recruit with great interest.

Despite his height -- tall for a corner -- Robinson showed impressive agility and change of direction during drills. I spoke with Robinson recently during the Heath Evans Foundation Charity 7-on-7 event in Palm Beach, Fla.

Miami Al Golden Football Camp

Al Golden Football Camp Update: 2013 CB Rashard Robinson, 6'1" and 165 lbs, attended and put on a clinic. He looked great.

-DB Rashard Robinson from Ely was recently offered after performing well at the last Al Golden Football Camp. LSU is in great position and the Tigers are expecting him to commit soon. It was going to be tough for Miami to have a good chance since they offered so late anyways.
