Number 3 on Rivals Coach O finishes 6th in the football season and number 3 recruiting on rivals and the boards are in full melt! lol

I thought rankings didn’t matter as much as needs? We whiffed on a big need and I believe that’s what has a lot of people concerned. Also Saban stuck it to us again with a high profile La recruit.

Outside of Rivals, LSU finished 6th to 7th from what I can tell in the others. They were also 4th in the SEC and 3rd in the SEC West, so while a great class, its still behind 2 of the teams that beat us this year that we will play next year.

We’re going to finish #5 in the composite rankings. Big thing about this though is, we will finish 4th in the SEC, and 3rd in the SEC West.

Yep, A&M's average recruit ranking is one one-hundredth of a point better than ours. There is really no discernible difference between our class and A&M's, and Texas' for that matter. There is a big gap between us and UGA/Alabama, but such is life. We still pulled in a great class.

I 100% agree with you, I’m just saying it’s rated higher. Only because they have 2 more kids. I would take our class over theirs.

I agree, any top ten class is at least an acceptable class, IMO. A top 5 is great.
