Vol, how many more DL do you see us finishing with, not including R. Sopsher?

We have 2 OT's signed in this class, Bradford and Perry, with one more committed in Parker

247 talks about Bradford being a gaurd and these guys are in the same mold of the previous guys recruited by the last staff you guys like to shite on so much. So again, no tackles and not a very strong dline haul.

Don't care ab 2020, that doesn't help LSU in the immediate future. Still got work to do on this 19 class.

I'm not sure if it is fair to cast the blame on S&C, the coaches for who they choose to recruit, or the players themselves for not working hard enough, but I have not been impressed with the condition of LSU's OL & DL in a looong time.

The waist lines don't lie. Got way too many guys carrying around 20-25 pound spare tires.

I haven't seen much (if any) difference in conditioning in regards to the other positions.

As far as your point, people refuse to admit that losing K lavon was a HUGE blow to the entire D, we thought we had depth to replace in Moore and Anthony, We DID NOT, I hope Cherry takes a big step forward next year

Hopefully one of Anthony or Moore turns out to be a late bloomer. Sometimes the light comes on and these guys will have a really solid one or two years after starting slow.

I follow recruiting fairly closely. The only "high" probability recruits are the ones from Louisiana. I, personally, have not seen many highly recruited SDE or WDE from LA in recent years. I wish we could grow some LB and DE and fewer WR

We have not been overwhelmed with OT either. The last highly rated OT in state were Tillery in 2015 and Robinson in 2014. Tillery is on DL for Notre Dame now.

Mississippi had a good load of DE this year (five 4* DE), but LSU seems to have trouble pulling high value recruits from Mississippi unless they were from the gulf Coast region. MS had one 4* OT as well.

For Louisiana:
In 2020, No DE listed . No OT listed

In 2019, no DE in the top 25. We have commits from both OT listed in the top 25.

in 2018, there were no DE in the top 25. We signed the only OT listed (Wire). Rosenthal would have been a 5* had he been willing to sign as an OT. We signed him as a DT and he has moved to OT now. Traore was a 4* JUCO OT.

in 2017, there were three 3* DE in the top 25. We signed Moffitt (SDE 3*, #33). We lost the only 4* OT to OU (Adrian Ealy). Deculus was a high 4* OT from Texas, but we missed on Ealy.
