Ponamsky has always been very high on him. He was on AFR tonight and said he's "next level talent" and a guy that the staff would make room for. Also compared him to Hilliard in that he's a little more of the bigger back type and fits the mold Miles and the O-Staff is looking for.

He's definitely similar to Kenny Hilliard.

Not on Rivals FWIW. Here's the answer to a question in a chat about what ranking and points Hill would have this year
quote:

Unless he was enrolled at a school and played football this past year he won't be added to the 2012 class and Hill doesn't qualify. Mike Farrell Rivals.com National Recruiting Analyst

Of course, Rivals gave Ole Miss points for Jerrel Powe for 3 straight years, but I guess this is different some how.

Who cares... If CLM & crew want to give him a scholy and he accepts thats all that matters...
Rival and their rankings count for nothing, it doesn't put one point on the scoreboard...

During their games head to head last year I thought Hill was the better of the two. I even had a friend who doesn't really follow recruiting ask me why Hilliard was ranked higher.

During there head to head games last Hilliard only played the first half,he was hurt and still had 100 yds and a TD. Hill is a little smaller and a little quicker, but I think they r about equally as good.

During his senior year, Hill started edging ahead of Hilliard in terms of the two prospects...in my eyes and the eyes of a large % of people.

Now we fast forward and Hilliard is no longer a prospect, but a player that has proven he can contribute. If Hill lives up to the same talent and potential he showed his senior year, he's well on his way to being a great RB for LSU.

has he been doing conditioning during his time off?

i would assume that he has, if miles is asking him to enroll. just asking if anyone knows what he's been up to.

I like Hill a lot but remember he ran behind the No.1 Olineman in the country in Lael Collins....Hilliard mainly got his bread and butter yards on his own. But both are very good...i wll give hilliard the edge bcs of what he had around him.
