I love reading opinions, just not your shitty one. And by the looks of it, 57 people agree with me

Time to promote Kevin Faulk
I love the idea of using the admin and analyst positions to coaching pipeline. Not only is it a good way to evaluate/prep them for a coaching role, it provides continuity for the players.
CFB is unique (and problematic) where it is wide open on the players side as a recruit and it's almost impossible to plan. Then it flips, the player is pretty much locked down and coaches come and go; contracts mean little these days except for cost and expectations are high. So some continuity is needed.

We aren't just not getting elite backs
Just in the past 10 years we've had a few elite backs. This is the 1st year in MANY that I can remember uncertainty at RB.

On one hand it makes sense. Quality RBs wanted to come here when they knew they'd get the ball in Les' 1970s offense. Now that we're moving away from that and stressing the passing game those guys might want to see what our offense will do before committing. It may be that what we are looking for in an RB is changing too; Fournette was a generational back but maybe we're looking for more rounded backs now rather than I formation thumpers. If I were a stud RB I'd want to see how the offense looked and frankly how O's tenure looked before committing...

Let's not jump the gun on any of these RB's it's only August and recruiting remains fluid

Remember when Emery wanted in on a crowded Moo State backfield as the "feature" back? He thought about it a while, looked around, & committed to Georgia. Who's to say that he won't do the same thing to UGA when he thinks about it like he did with MSU? Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm?

Cain may commit but it hasn't happened yet, and no other top recruits are seemingly high on us?
Cain has set his announcement date in early Dec. I work with one of his relatives that booked a plane ticket to be with him at his announcement. He says no one will know until then. I'm sure some coach will know.

Tommy Robinson sucks arse at recruiting. That’s the problem

Robinson is slick. He works them on the side trust me. He is a hustler. He smoothed talks. Robinson , does not do social media, and he will tell you straight up he wont.

From Rivals

Chad Simmons (Southeast): Louisiana running back Tyrion Davis is one that i can see finishing at a higher ranking this cycle. He is a strong, powerful back that is only going to get better. The LSU commit is not all about the camps and it is always tough for running backs to shine in that setting, but he is in good shape, he plays on a very good team and he will likely have a huge senior season. He runs hard, he has balance and I see his body changing for the better once he gets to college.

The RB's coach what's his name, Robinson I think, this is a reflection on him as a recruiter imo that he can't get backs to commit
Agreed. Over-rated hire.

Beating Georgia this year will give him a lot to think about.

Tyron Davis is as good as any back in the country. Maybe not on the 7 and 7 circuit at 230lbs but in pads on the field he is a beast.
