Baton Rouge and the crime rate

Baton Rouge has the 7th highest homicide rate in the country. And right down the street is NOLA, the murder capital of the world. Yea, I'd rather live in Auburn any day of the week

According to this list, most people in Baton Rouge do not even have any teeth. You should be the last group of fans to call somebody else a hick.

I always thought bammers were a bunch of toothless rednecks, but LSU fans apparently have them beat

BR has a population around 300k and a metro area in the 600-700k area. yeah very redneck

Because Auburn Football rules in Auburn. If you play football in Auburn, you are King of the Hill.

he had Vandy ranked #3 in this list

I'm struggling to find any sort of verification on this statistic. That is not to say that you are lying, but I would appreciate some sort of source so I can view it for myself.

How dare somebody utter the words that another stadium on this earth is better than Tiger Stadium

AU may have a better stadium than LSU

but the difference in AU's stadium and LSU's (or almost any other SEC chool) isn't going to be much

now this may explain why AU is a better option than MSU, but it's not a selling point for AU v LSU, especially if you have to live in the fricking sticks surrounded by trailer parks

where is the statistical information proving this?

yeah BR has insanely high prices. very low bang for the buck in BR

we do have a fricking ghetto, which drags things down (including the murder rate), but that's what you get in urban areas

Lol, you actually think the FBI keeps stats on a place like Auburn Alabama?

You can buy Crystal meth at the local 7-11 in Auburn.

So if a city has a lot of people means it's not redneck?

Bham Al metro area is 1 million +, that doesnt mean it's not a redneck city.

I gotcha, I looked up information on the city, and of course it pulled up sites that give you every piece of generic information under the sun for people that are considering retiring in any given city.

Statistics weren't that bad at all, which is why I was a little wary about 7 out of every 10 people living in Auburn living in a mobile home.

it was over 50% but i dont remember the number. i remember at the time a lot of AU fans saying it was because all the students lived off campus in trailers because they were cheaper than apartments.

If preferring to live in a city with a low crime rate is racist, well I'm David Duke

U call Auburn a sh!thole, fine. There are only 6 cities in america where u would have a better chance of getting murdered than in Baton Rouge. End of thread

Auburn is probably my favorite road trip. The school has some serious women and nice bars. Small town college atmosphere with big support and tradition. I know you're on the bash Auburn train because of Big Cat weekend but the town and school are pretty nice and a fun place to visit.

That might be it. I know Auburn isn't exactly the ideal metropolis area of America, but 70% just seemed awfully high without some sort of reason.

It isn't that bad dude
