The kid will play at bama. Listen Miles was fishing for bigger players just like with DS and got burned again. He will learn you take care of the instate kids first. Your programs is built on instate kids. Just remember no HS coach wants to have there kid threw under the bus like benton. Pull his ship the night or morning of NSD give me a break;. JMO

Didn't pull the scholly FYI. What about Little Nicky's tactics of taking kids that are not qualified? BTW, Catholic High, which had a terrible season this year, stopped Lacy cold. He is not a SEC back.

Exactly, and now that Sabin has screwed Bell out of a schollie, you can bet the Rayville coach and other LA coaches won't foregt what Sabin did to Bell.
If Sabin is smart, he will find a schollie for Bell instead of a greyshirt.

he would have redshirted at LSU
he wont at alabama
in fact, it would have been hard for him to see the field at LSU for a couple years

he'll RS at Bama as well
I don't see him ever making much of an impact...especially in that offense

im sure les is looking forward to bamalee's guide to recruiting

Lacy is a beast. A team in alabam killed T. richardson this year and they were very bad. Happens to every RB. I think bell,DS, and Lacy are very good players and we will take them at bama.

Bama will recruit much better talent at WR than Bell so don't expect much there but DS and Lacy are solid players if they can get in school and stay there.

You just made my point about him not signing with LSU--he'll see the field faster with Bammer.

Have no idea what this comment is about.

Very informed comment. Have you actually looked at LSU's roster to see where the majority of kids are from?

Really? Another brilliant observation on your part. Actually, Coach Miles builds our program on the BEST of LA players, but comes over here into Tejas to get quality, not to mention cherry-picking from states like MS, FL, GA, and even AL (JaMarcus Russell ring a bell?).

There kid? How about THEIR kid. Threw under the bus? You putting that Bammer edumacashun to good use, are you? And just exactly how do you know who said what to whom? Were you there?

Where do you get your information from?
Bottom line: $aban has this obsession with signing at least a couple of LA kids each year (re: Luther Davis) so he can pop off about his recruiting ability outside of Bama. In reality, he's not getting anyone that will make nickel's worth of difference in LSU's success...or Bammer's for that matter.

Yep, He will play at Bamma on mop up in a few years after ya'll find a QB. Then it will only be a few. You guys have a Julio and always gonna be looking for another one, Just like you had a Bear and aren't going to find one.

Buy a trailer in Alabama........No longer wanted in Louisiana......pussy move to run from competition.........
Posted on 2/4/09 at 10:34 pm to Tru 2LSU
It came down to whether or not he wanted to be playing this coming season with Bama, or doing workout sessions the whole season with LSU. He made the smart decision. No need to call the kid a pussy, he's 18 for God's sake.
LSU will not skip a beat without Bell. We are stacked at WR and it seems like Miles is only getting better at picking and choosing who he wants.

I think he's a pussy for waiting until NSD to officially switch. There had been speculation on him switching for weeks and he continued to say he was solid to LSU.

You folks cannot sit there and say Miles handled the DS and RR things very well. His daddy comes on the radio calls him a liar and then he pulls bentons ship. Hell Saban screws up too, we lost A. McClain last year, because our staff screwed up, but nothing like this. I can never recall anything like this happening under saban while at lsu. JMO
