What is the word on liggins? How good is he?

He is the QB the staff wants. He has a big arm and good mobility. He will be really good with some coaching and time with Moffit

Yes he likes their baseball program, also Tyrone Nix was at his game last Friday during Ole Miss' bye week.

Yea Yamamma, I agree. For some reason I wasn't a fan of Liggins until I saw some film on him ezrules linked in another thread. I went back and copied and pasted my opinion on Liggins.
[ ezrulz, thanks for the film on Liggins. I had never watched any before. I was actually a lot more impressed than I thought I would be. There is some things that I saw that I think are to be excited about.
1.)The kid does have a funny throwing motion but he has a decently quick throwing motion for high school kid. It's awkward but from the time he starts his throw til the time the ball is released is pretty quick/short. The ball has some nice zip on it and gets to the receiver quickly. With some coaching I can only see it getting better and quicker.
2.) I don't think his footwork is great and he throws off his back foot a lot. But the fact that he still got rid of the ball quickly with zip and was very accurate only means with some coaching once he learns how to set his feet better and plant and throw the ball will get delivered quicker with even better accuracy.
3.) For such a big boy he moves very well and looks pretty fast. Once he gets in a college weight and fitness program and a coach like Moffit gets a hold of him. They will tone and tighten him and turn any body fat into muscle and this kid will be a moving freight train.
Bonus.) Nobody wanted to tackle him and when anyone tried it didn't look easy to take him down. And another thing I noticed was a high school QB that switched the ball to his outside arm while running with it. They got NFL QBs who still don't remember to do this.
I'm summary I was impressed and with coaching this kid could turn out to be a pretty damn good QB. Just my opinion
