The board appears full of DT's (sick). Who (besides Baker from Livonia) is Coach O going after? I may have missed some recent offers. LA doesn't appear as deep on the end as it is in the middle.

Depends on how quickly we move to the 3-4. We could take 5-6 DTs and fill our 3-4 line with them

Are we for sure moving to a 3-4? Don't think we currently have enough LB for this

As of now, they are just saying it'll be a mixture of both. Maybe we'll get a sneak peak in the spring, but we probably won't know for sure until the season actually starts.

Willie Baker
Andre Anthony
Travez Moore
Sci Martin

These instate fellas are more in the mold of a 7 tech DE or could stand up on the edge in a 3-4.

Guys like Guidry, Logan, Taylor, even Lawrence can play 5 tech DE in a 3-4 or 3 tech as DTs in a 4-3

I would love to see a move to a 3-4. I think right now you probably have the best personal for it that you have ever had. That being said, I do not want to go through the growing pains, especially right now.

Don't see the personnel you're seeing especially at LB. Need big LBs for a 3-4 and we have exactly 2 that fit the mold, Beckwith and Garrett. That's it for ILBs so no depth.
Louis could spell in the middle but would have to play beyond his body to really be good. Alexander, Riley and Voorhies essentially become nonfactors because of size unless they can play S which still doesn't help them because we are pretty damn good and deep at S.
Teuhema, Neal, Patterson, Bower and Key can all play OLB but most would be liabilities in space.
Just don't see the players for a deep, effective 3-4.

4-3 will remain the base defense but we will see some 3-4.

Andre Anthony is going to be a beast, mark my words!!!

That kid is going to blow up this year, he's definitely under the radar. He's damn near unstoppable on all of his camp videos...

These two can play as well

Especially interested in Roach. Big frame. Curious as to where he projects in the front 7

I need to check these guys out. Man I hate that we can't count back any of the EEs. We need a 28 member class. As far as I can remember though, we haven't greyshirted since Elliot Porter.
