Has there been any report of the recruits coming out of west Monroe for the class of 2011. The team was pretty damn good and with them only signing 2 players this past season, there should be a large amount of players in the 2011 class. Any news from up there?

Paul Turner and Chucky Hunter are the top 2 recruits...Hunter has a better shot at getting an offer from LSU.

Someone on here said he may go to another school next year because he'll be too old...can't confirm that though...I hope that was false info, kind of like how Paul Turner was transferring to Westgate.

Tyson will return to West Monroe next year as a senior on the field, but as a junior in the classroom. The following year he will probably transfer to another school to finish his education and play football.

The school I'm hearing is River Oaks in Monroe. They play in the MPSAA so you can play at 19. I've also been told that's what Teshadi Talton is doing this year.
As far as recruits from WM, Chuck Hunter, Paul Turner, and Tyler Cain seem to be the top 3 this year. All 3 were invited to Moo State's Junior Day. Hunter is the top guy, but might not have a spot at LSU due to them already offering 3 DTs this year. He went to Bama's Junior Day instead of LSU's, supposedly in the same strategy of Rasco so that they could come to LSU's 2nd junior day. Turner has better measurables than several players already committed to LSU, but everyone would be surprised if he gets an offer. He's the QB at WM, but most see him as a DB at the next level. He'll need to do well on the camp scene this summer. Cain is a Dexter McCluster clone. We thought he was slower, but after this weekend and Cluster's performance at the Combine, maybe not. I don't look for any of them to end up at LSU.

JJ, they announced at the football banquet that River Oaks would in fact be the school that Talton would attend. No mention of Tyson, but I'm sure he will end up there as well. They will absolutely be unstoppable in the MPSA.

seriouly why ask wm question on here when you get 40 pages of useless crap of how the qb is the second coming of michael vick and the de is another reggie white and on and on and on..

Everybody knows if Neville would have had as much success over the last 15-20 years as WM, this board would would have as much, if not more, Neville talk. Hey, congrats on a great season. Can't wait till next September.
