Last time LSU jumped the gun and stole the thunder, a recruit signed elsewhere. Not saying that is what really happened or that is what will happen, but it's still a fricked up situation regardless.
Every single one of you have that little bit of doubt just sitting there in your stomach. Worried that he'll be a sooner, and that is the real reason he hasn't announced.

Dude... he sent his LOI in to LSU. Its over. Even if hes mad he didnt get his moment, hes part of this class. And if he wanted his moment he shouldnt have sent his LOI in today.

He's the only one not published in the 2014-2015 roster, yet.
Hopefully that is a technicality.

It wouldn't be hard at all for him to get out of his LOI, but I doubt he would do it over something like this.
He could have flipped to OU, but he didn't, and some OU fans have been bashing him on twitter.

Not really..
Im all for the recruit having his moment in front of his school, family friends, coaches, etc.
And its 1 thing to be a "silent verbal" commit, and then it gets leaked that you committed and all that. Its a completely diff thing to send in your LOI, via fax. Where multiple people see the fax, like secretaries, student workers, etc.
The 1 thing that ends your recruitment process and contractually binds you to 1 school is a LOI. Once you sign it and fax it to the school of your choice, recruitment is over.
Its simple. If you want to have an announcement ceremony tomorrow, dont send your LOI in today.
I feel bad for him because he didnt get his moment. But he did sign and send his LOI to LSU today. Its hard enough to keep a verbal commit quiet, and a verbal commit doesnt mean anything. Its damn near impossible to keep a signed and delivered LOI.

What about Adoree and Lorenzo, their status is still committed and not signed. Any chance Les is trying to flip them??
Or is it more of a technicality that the website is not updated?
Desperate wishful thinking

Is he signed or not? I just saw something from newsOK that quoted the mom as saying he hadn't signed yet.

speculation is they were trying to keep it quiet so that he could enjoy his signing ceremony at school tomorrow but someone in the media found out and didn't have the capability to not be an asswipe...

Yes. Eddie Vanderdoes got out his LOI from Notre Dame so he could move back closer to home. Even though UCLA is 6 hours away from his house.
Posted on 2/5/14 at 6:47 pm to whodidthat
once you sign and send it in it's a done deal man.
Posted on 2/5/14 at 6:49 pm to whodidthat
And didnt Vanderdoes have to sit out a year or whatever??
You can get out of it, but there is always a penalty. And the school has to release you from it too.
