Hootie and CSims are Monroe guys. CRob is also a Monroe guy who just transferred to West Monroe High last year from Ouachita.

Great point and I think this little flash-n-da-pan episode won't happen again. West Monroe loves LSU.

Supposedly, some coach at St. Aug just has a "feeling" (nothing that LF has said) that he'll go to bama. Second hand info, so take it fwiw, but it's from someone who doesn't BS, so I don't doubt the coach said it. Just have no idea what the "feeling" is based off of.

Or fournettes lead recruiter from bama went to school at and coached at st aug

Or that st augs counselor is that same coaches daughter

Also, mark Ingram frequently visits the hallways of St aug

so was the fricking Titanic....count me in with the "I'll believe it when I see it crowd." those of you who scoff at bama aren't paying attention because losing CRob and Sims only served to weaken out position. bama, as we speak, has established itself as the ultimate glory program and more times than not...the best want to play with the best. Frank Wilson is on point and that is huge for us but if he can't land this kid we are seriously fricked. LF has shown off and on the field integrity but, for the life of me, I simply don't understand why someone "who is all LSU" would not commit early to help build momentum and become the magnet that solidifies this crucial class.

This I agree with. Some say he is a one in a generation recruit. He could have had a once in a generation effect on his class had he committed early and became the leader in helping to solidify a once in a generation Louisiana crop of players. Imagine LF doing as Paris or Harris or even CR for Bama.

I just love how sims goes from not having an offer from us to losing him to bama...

He's a once in a generation player and he will only get this HUGE CHOICE only once in his lifetime

Let the kid enjoy the process.

He ll be a Tiger in the end. JMO

I absolutely agree. From what I understand, he's kind of a quiet kid that doesn't want all of the hoopla and fuss that comes with the recruiting process. If that's true, then the easiest way to avoid that would have been to just to end his recruitment as early as possible. Further, if he's the type who doesn't want all the fuss, then committing to bama would have destroyed that. This is what makes me uncomfortable about him.
