Even Mike Detillier has a strong feeling that he comes to LSU. I know that he will probably be the featured back, etc. but is there anything LF has said or is everyone just thinking very positive?

We feel positive because he's not from Monroe, but from NOLA.....

Not reading through all this, but he's committing to LSU. Fact. I've posted before, but I've heard from Ed Ogeron's mouth that there is no team that could steal LF from LSU.

Keep thinking that. I'm quite sure that I have spent more tuition money at LSU (BS and DDS) and probably time in Tiger Stadium than you.

I hope LSU lets Frank realize how much he is appreciated. I know he is well paid, but I would hope that someday in the future he might even get consideration for the position of offensive coordinator.

Before you sneer at this idea, recall that he was a very successful head coach in New Orleans, and the RB's he has coached at LSU have done well here--albeit, obviously, they are talented.

Surely Frank can one day maybe get some consideration for how super productive he's been on the recruiting front. If Strudrawa can actually be OC for a couple of years, how high can the standards be? Frank is easily a far better coach than Stud!

I have said this before but here it is again. I think we land LF and people will by and large not think much of it from a recruiting victory aspect think... well we should get him/LSU lock. When the truth is quite different. He was not an easy catch and keeping him home took some doing. Could have easily gone else where.

Talked to my buddy yesterday from Birmingham. His best friend from college works on the football operations staff at Bama and he says LF will be at LSU and Alabama has backed off (not much I would think) of him to focus on other recruits. TIFWIW, same guy told me a month ago hootie was going to bama.

No such thing as a done deal in this day and age of recruiting

Is have to disagree. While coaching changes, family problems, money and a slew of other stuff can make a kid changes his mind at the last second. There are some that would go to a school no matter what because they are life ling fans. Regardless the coach or record.

guys like ed Paris and Harris are locks to LSU. even though they haven't enrolled in school yet. Why go through the process of singing financial aid papers just to bail? Makes no sense, unless a head coaching change.

I think LF is all LSU. We are taking a huge risk by letting the depth chart clear out. He sees how much love LSU has given him.
