RN's HS teammate. Clemson, OM, Bama and LSU are his latest 4 finalists.

Dabo is a very good recruiter, but gives me little to nothing on the field.

Granted I'm a Clemson alum and fan, this recuiting battle for RN is far from over, but at the moment, we like our chances with him. Most Clemson fans believe Gallman (now committed), Kamara, and Nkemdiche are ours to lose.

Lord knows a defense that awful could use them right now.

Only second rate programs offered either. Bama, LSU, and UGA have bigger fish still left on the board. So congrats on an endless continuation of being irrelevant.

I don't discount your chances at all.

I don't either. In fact I kept telling Bama fans right before he visited LSU to watch Clemson.

I just think there is a special place on the totem pole for teams that must sink to offering average or below average teammates and friends of Blue chip recruits. That place is to remain irrelevant.

Clemson is a threat because of Swinney and their tactics(I'm all for it) but they're being set up for disapointment just like we are. Until he signs somewhere other than Bama(not commits, signs) his recruitment should be treated with caution by every other school and their fans. A classy kid but his recruitment is likely going to change my view of him because of the circus that he's feeding. The complete circus isn't his fault because the media/recruiting sites would cause that anyway but he doesn't have to feed into it. He should just keep things close to the vest and when ready, pick a school. Same can be said for any kid but rarely do kids have the following he has. We(fans) and the sites would talk about him anyway.

I understand calling me out on Kamara (albeit I think he could pan out and be a solid starter), but Gallman is a highly regarded recruit, with offers from Auburn, UGA, and South Carolina amongst others. And even if RN does not commit to us, we wouldn't pull the plug on his Grayson teammates, a tactic that I would equate to something Saban would do if he didn't get his way. If that keeps us irrelevant, then so be it...but Alabama fans have a lot of gumption to call out the recruiting tactics of other programs.

Saban doesn't offer kids who aren't worthy of scholarships.

Like the time we offered Kennan Allen's brother just to get him. Oh, wait...

Just so you know, it wasn't a Bama fan that called out your recruiting tactics.
