I’d imagine when you sell out, there’s at least a part of you that struggles with that even if you know you did the best thing financially.
Not sour grapes. Would have loved to land the kid, but from all that’s been reported, he was never taking a dollar less than the highest bid. Could’ve been any school. It was only about the money in this case.
I hate what college football is becoming
Not bc I worry about LSU’s ability to keep up, but rather I worry that this entire thing has already turned it into a less lucrative version of the nfl pay for play. No loyalty from anyone involved. Openly buying players, players can break commitments with no penalty even after being enrolled in a school, schools openly recruiting from others rosters, etc.
It’s gonna be hard to maintain the same emotional investment in it all when it’s so obviously just business.
