“The Vanderbilt Commodores just lost a defensive starter to the transfer portal. According to On3’s Matt Zenitz, starting cornerback Ja’Dais Richard has entered the NCAA transfer portal.

Richard played high school football at West Monroe High in West Monroe, LA, where he was a four-star prospect. He was the No. 341 overall recruit in the 2022 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking,”

I got excited thinking Donovan Kaufman was in the portal when I saw Vandy DB. I totally missed him being at Auburn

Pretty sure he has to transfer outside of the SEC.

He can transfer within the SEC, but he couldn't play next year. Of course this makes it unlikely that he would do so, but if he wanted he could take a redshirt.
