ESPN Scouting Report on Vadal:
Alexander is a big strong athletic player who is capable of getting immediate movement as a run blocker. Has the athleticism and size for the offensive tackle position at the major level of competition. As his career progresses there may be the need to redistribute some of his body mass through solid weight room work. Playing out of a three point stance this athlete demonstrates the flexibility, balance and agility necessary to get a hat on active 1st and 2nd level defenders; is capable of coming off the ball low and hard with good initial quickness and explosion; does a good job getting into defender's pads with the fit, blocking base and leg drive necessary for immediate movement off the line and maintaining contact downfield. We see a player with the quickness and balance necessary to get on linebackers while sustaining and playing on his feet in space. Is quick out of his stance when asked to pull and trap; demonstrates the ability to adjust on the move and pancake linebackers using his good upper body playing strength. The aggressive finishing attitude we see displayed is what we look for when evaluating offensive linemen. His arm length and foot quickness should be assets in pass protection; flashes quick set ability from a three point stance, displaying the flexibility to bend and slide his feet. Overall his hand use will need to improve as he prepares for major college pass rushers, specifically initial punch, location and extension. With improved technique we see a prospect capable of becoming a dominant run blocker at the next level of play. Alexander's size and athleticism should be major assets as his collegiate career unfolds and early playing time becomes a distinct possibility as the technical aspects of his game improve.

Thanks for posting! Another good thing is that Vadal has been carrying 300+ pounds for several years now and will not have to work so much on being as athletic with putting on a whole bunch of weight as some of the other prospects like Humphries and even Miller. What he can do at 300+ is already a known factor. Smart young man, straight A's in school, will be a smart player on the OL in addition to his athleticism which will make him tough to get by!!

Technically he reminds me a lot of Jahri Evans of the Saints and he is one of the highest paid guards in the NFL.
P.S.I want to do a thread with all the 20 commitment's scouting reports from ESPN idk if I should though because I'm a noob.

It was the atmosphere, the coaches, and everything.
Day game Saturday, but to this highly-touted, intelligent recruit, the atmosphere was enjoyable nevertheless. After reading all the handwringing posts about day games at Tiger Stadium, it's good to see a prized recruit could enjoy and appreciate the game and the campus even without the nighttime electricity.

He also said Auburn led before the weekend.
he prolly realized he didn't want to run in a hully gully mikcey mouse offense and get gassed playing too many quick snaps every game.
He can play smashmouth every week at LSU and just run over people and have hte scouts slobbering over him.

Hope he does well as an LSU Tiger
