We were ranked 3rd on 247 for a while. Kept adding commits and kept dropping. Scout has us at 6, but when they redo their rankings we will be top 5.

This is why taking what these "experts" say is dicey and unreliable. Did they not evaluate him prior to the 5* challenge? He's never been fast or explosive. Diarse did exactly what we'll want him to do at that camp. Ruled the middle of the field in the underneath passing game. He was open all day on the short crossing routes, beating man coverage. That is his future, with some run after catch ability thrown in, so I don't quite get what they were expecting. Some kids can't be judged based on speed and explosiveness. Diarse is one of those. Put the pads on or put him against competition, I'll take him every time on my team.

Rivals is way too caught up in 40 times, height and weight. They splooge over freak athletes but give little credit to ordinary sized guys that are simply football players and will get the job done in college. Neal and Diarse are ordinary sized guys that don't run blazing fortys but have shown time and time again they can beat superior athletes on a football field. Diarse has been owning La 4A football for going on 4 years and Saban was all over this kids jock for a long time. Neal dominated summer camps, but rivals thinks guys with "potential" based on size and speed are more deserving of a higher ranking.
It is what it is. It think our class is ranked pretty accurate outside these 2 and you can't expect to agree with every single ranking on all of our commits with every website.

they eat it up if you go to their camp and show them in person. Jones never camped, so rivals doesn know, therefore he drops in the rankings. Unless your rahim fualkins, you get to keep your top 250 ranking for no reason.
